 What is SA Company Search?
SA Company Search is an internet-based system that provides access to the data on companies and close corporations as held by the Company Registrar's Office.
Users can search the database based on more than 20 different criteria, including company number, company name, director's name or ID number.

What can you do with SA Company Search?
  • Check "Name Reservation" requests.
  • Cross-reference between companies and people, so you can see all the companies where a person is a director.
  • Find out who the auditors of a company are.
  • Order a variety of official company forms for any specific company or close corporation and have them delivered directly to your office by Docex (as long as you are a Docex customer).
  • Save your searches for later reference.
  • Ask to be alerted via e-mail, for any changes to the details of a specific company.
  • Track all the work you do for clients with your own cost codes.
How often is it updated ?
SA Company Search is updated monthly directly from data supplied by the Department of Trade and Industry.
